AR Procedures

The students at PHIS watched a short presentation on the AR procedures that students follow in the Intermediate School. This presentation includes information on how many points they have to earn each quarter for their Rooster Reading grade, how many points they have to earn, the Code of Conduct information and general guidelines and tips. I am very excited that students now have many more quizzes to choose from this year since we switched to the web based version of AR in Renaissance Place. Well, I did it! I got to meet Rick Riordan! For the first time ever an author won the Mark Twain Award two years in a row, so amazingly he got to accept last year's award and this year's at the same time! He was a very funny and gracious presenter. With all the excitement of the upcoming movie and release of The Last Olympian on May 5th there was a real "rock star" feel in the air.
